Community Hub Meeting Update On MONDAY 13/07/2026 between 10000hrs 1040hrs PCSO 7002EA ALEEM orgained meeting at the Community Hub with businesses on Ilford Lane on a serious incident on Ilford Lane, ongoing issues of antisocial behaviour on Ilford. Evening parking problems and the impact of the recent Eid celebrations. The Clementswood SNT and the Loxford SNT sergeant provided an update on last month’s serious incident pleased to hear that the 15-year-old victim has now been discharged from hospital. Two individuals remain under investigation in connection with the incident. The discussion focused on working more closely with residents and local businesses to better understand the concerns affecting the area and to find practical solutions together. Councillor Warrich agreed that businesses should be involved in future discussions regarding road closures, traffic management and planning for community events so that everyone’s views are heard. It was encouraging to see residents businesses local SNT (Safer Neighbourhood Team) Clementswood SNT and Loxford SNT coming together with the shared aim of making our neighbourhood safer and better for everyone. The (SIBA) South Ilford Businesses Association Mr Khalid chair spoke on making sure that the businesses to communicate with (SIBA) and the local SNT on issues and concerns they may be experincing. The local SNT officers have asked to get the community and the businessses to register with METENGAGE platform to message the teams and get updates to know what the local SNT have orgainsed to engage with the teams.
